Erie Live is built the other way: every reading carries its freshness stamp, stale stations grey out, forecasts are labeled as the model estimates they are, and missing data shows a dash — never a guess. The wave forecast even grades itself against real buoys every night. When a government feed goes down, the app says “unavailable” instead of inventing a number. On the water, honest beats impressive.
