  • Health Metrics: Data from Apple HealthKit including heart rate, sleep, steps, workouts, HRV, and other metrics you choose to analyze
  • Analysis Preferences: Your selected target metrics and analysis settings
  • Saved Insights: Correlations you choose to save or bookmark for reference

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device Information: Device type and iOS version for compatibility purposes
  • App Usage: Which features you use to improve the app experience

Health Data (Apple HealthKit)

Important: Correlate integrates with Apple HealthKit to read and/or write health data. This data is used solely to provide the app's core functionality and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We access health data only with your explicit permission. You can revoke this access at any time through your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Correlate.

Health data is processed locally on your device whenever possible. When cloud sync is enabled, health data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption.

How We Use Your Information

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your data at any time through the app settings. Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

Correlate is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and the right to object. Our legal basis for processing is your consent and our legitimate interests in providing the service.
